Recordkeeping: A Normal Lost Phone INCOMPLETE

I played up to the point where I had a pretty good idea of what, exactly, was going on.
I considered my options.
Then I opened the in-game options menu and chose to wipe the data on the found phone.

I think I'm all right with doing that. Some mysteries are too personal to uncover.

[edit] To elaborate... I think I've been in the position the phone owner was in, at least loosely. The game wants me to sort of... perform identity-forging, carry on conversational lines that the phone owner had open. I don't really like the way that feels.

But it made me -feel something-, so successful game design, y'know? Just... I don't wanna feel more of this.

Noodles with Woof and Sqrl

Woof: "I was thinking I'd just pop in a pizza, and you could have some of the lo mein noodles in the freezer..."

Sqrl: "Ehhh I think I'll stick to ramen. I'm not hungry enough to use the lo mein yet."

*long silence*

Sqrl: "Maybe I've been playing too many RPGs, too much Final Fantasy. No! I can't use those noodles, what if I NEED THEM LATER?"

Woof: "Well you could dress like a cup noodle and go on a cross-country road trip?"

Sqrl: "Yes! This is an EXCELLENT idea! Wait, where would we go?"

Woof: "Like... we could dress you up and drive you out to like, Ohio to the cup noodle distribution plant...?"

Sqrl: "I think there's a cup noodle museum in Japan."

Woof: "Well. I'm NOT driving you to Japan."

Sqrl: "That's okay. I don't even like cup noodles that much, I prefer Maruchan. I'm not gonna dress up like something I don't like because I don't like them and then not drive to Japan. I can just stay here and not drive to Japan."

Woof: "...dress... like them because you DON'T like them... I don't understand how your brain works sometimes."

Sqrl: "...it's just your standard lizard squirrel moogle brain. Do you not have a lizard in there?"

Woof: "...wha... I don't think so? Stop poking my head."

Sqrl: "Can I open it up and see?"

Woof: "...go eat noodles."

[EDIT: I could apparently be eating OFFICIAL FINAL FANTASY CUP NOODLES. Sadly they do not come in character-specific flavors. My days of dreaming about slurping chocobo have absolutely come to a middle, however.]
