A quick sum-up

Good: Did not die at the parent's place.
Bad: Still don't like them.
Good: But can tolerate them.
TOTAL: Okay.

Good: Nintendo DS Lite for Christmas!
Bad: Touchscreen doesn't work.
Worse: Not covered under warranty? For some reason? Even though it's new?
Maybe good: Still have receipt. Will try an exchange.
TOTAL: Ehh.

Bad: A dear friend of mine, rosycat, died quite abruptly this holiday weekend.
Good: ... Nothing.
But: I will remember her with fondness and affection, not sadness. She was the happiest, sweetest person I knew. I'm just glad to have caught up with her again.
Still: ...gone.

TOTAL: ... Okay. But... shaky.

Red Steel got a once-over from me. It was firmly all right. Not bad, but not excellent in any sense except for one wacky wonderful level.
