Tee-hee! ... wait, no! AUGH!
Dec. 19th, 2005 12:27 pmI walk a crunchy street, down the boulevard of lima beans...
There's this song by Green Day. Boulevard of Broken Dreams. I get exposed to it now and then because I enjoy the local "We play EVERYTHING" radio station. Last night I was very sleep-deprived and this song came on, and I abruptly belted out the line above.
The boyfriend looked at me funny, I giggled helplessly, and that was that.
Today the song was on again when I woke up, and I started singing along to it. Green Day? No. Green Hay! Yes. It's ALL about vegetables. I can MAKE it about vegetables. I starting working out how. And giggling quietly.
Then as I got out of bed, the future hit me in the cortex. My brain will go off and work on this and come back and tell me "Hey! HERE'S how to make it about veggies!" And I'll publish it. Then I'll start eyeing other songs and twiddling them. Califlower days and within ten years I'm writing scripts for 'Veggie Tales Junior High" and wondering what the hell happened to my life anyway.
Friends. Dear friends. If I start along this path, if I walk this boulevard of lima beans, I want you to set me on fire. It'll be better in the long run.
Thank you for reading, and thank you preemptively for your efforts to burninate me in the future.

Also,
Worthplaying has a review of Nibiru up. I didn't like it much.
