Okay. I've got a bit of a headache, but there's a couple of links I want to drop off, a couple of impressions I want to post while I have -some- coherent thought left in my skull, and so on.

First off, I have not forgotten you, oh people I promised writerness to! I will indeed get back to the writing at some point in the near future. Or the far future. Or 20XX. Sometime in there. You'll get LJ Interest Stories, anyway, I promise.

Now, linkwise I've got a link to my review of Madagascar over at Worthplaying. It wasn't really that remarkable a game. I mean, I played it and all, but you shouldn't have to. Not that exciting.

Exciting enough to make your BRAIN EXPLODE, however, is the fact that Zlad Vladcik is still making music!

...What do you mean, 'who?'. Surely you remember last year's entry into the Eurovision contest, his space-age epic 'Elektronik Supersonik'? Now he's entered his goth phase, with 'I Am the Antipope'. All may rejoice in the crowning of Antipope Zladiko the 666th.

And the pink-haired thing is back! I am still totally in big-eyed wuv with her. I don't know who she is, but I fawn over her. (Sadly, the song itself pales before the glory of Elektronik Supersonik.)

The impressions get a seperate post to themselves, because they are anime impressions and thus skippable for all.

This is likely to be long for no good reason.

Ahem. Basically, as I was saying, we have a Netflix account now. (Well. We had one. The 'two weeks free' trial is up, and because some jackhole seems to have hijacked the wolf's credit card number we've frozen it until we can get a new one. I'm sorry, I'm sure I'd remember if we were exchanging US dollars for Swedish monies for some reason.) Anyway, we thought that since the Netflix queue is up around 200 films now, we'd go ahead and see if any of the anime shows were at our local store.

There were indeed a few.
Riding Bean, They Were Eleven, EX Driver, RahXephon the Movie and Iria Zeiram the Animation spoilers all potentially lay within )
Anyway, that's it. Now when we get out Netflix account back (and our credit card back) we should be looking at ... Let's see. Father Ted Series 1 (Hey, something non-animated!) and Hyper Police disc 1.

Some of you lucky folk already know about the genius of Jonathan Coulton. Those of you who don't can pick up some samples over here: LINK! (Everyone else will point you to 'Skullcrusher Mountain'. My favorites are 'Mandelbrot Set' and 'IKEA'.)

I bring this up because he's written five songs for Popular Science (under the collective album title "Our Bodies, Ourselves, Our Cybernetic Arms") which are MASSIVELY catchy and fun to listen to. I heartily endorse this. Go get 'em, folks.

In my opinion anyway. If you're not up for bouncy TMBG-ish tunes, stay far away.
