So I decided, hey! I'm gonna join that Good Eats Yahoo mailing list group, because holy crap, I'm not getting ENOUGH random mail!

Except I click the link for the group and: "Only members are allowed to access this group."
Oh. Okay. I'll become a member.
The link to become a member, by default in a Yahoo group, is on the group page. So I'll just visit the group page...

...and nobody can get access to it if they're not in the group...

NOBODY IS REALLY IN THE GROUP. Those people who supposedly are are ALL ILLUSIONS.
