Land of the Living
Dec. 3rd, 2003 08:51 pmSo it's been a while since I last posted, but I have a good reason for that. My last post was all about shedding something that was getting downright uncomfortable... that is, that damn song that was stuffed VIOLENTLY into my head. (Thanks, Jeremy, for fielding that one so I didn't have to.)
Pleasingly, that worked out well and I no longer have it stuck in my heads. Hopefully, everyone else does. So I'm pretty much just lazily sitting around right now, and making zombie noises as the Woof plays the "They Hunger" mod for Half Life.
(Game: "Auuuuuugh. Braaaaaains."
Woof: *bangbangbang*
Sqrl: "Owwwww. Myyyyy kneeeeees."
Woof: *snrk* "No."
Sqrl: "Huuuuug uuuuuus. We loooove yoooooou."
Woof: "NO." *cracking up*)
Aside from that, not much is happening here in Sqrlsilvania. Did some lazy work on the novel, mostly trying to hammer together the plot holes. Between that and other projects my creativity's been feeling a little stretched, but stretched in a nice way, a muscle-building stretch, not a rip-off-and-run-away-with stretch.
I continue to feel tired a LOT. I'm really starting to worry about that, I'm trying to keep hydrated and such. It's been suggested I SEEK AND DEVOUR more beef, which might help with iron and make my blood more oxygen-rich. Since most of my protein comes from chicken, this may well be a good idea. I'm not at all sure about this seasonal-affective disorder thing. I mean, when was the last time you saw a depressed bat? Bats have a GREAT time, all loopy and flapping around. No, if I'm depressed and tired and worn out all the time, it's good old fashioned body chemistry, not light issues!
...gods, being a digital entity is starting to look REALLY good. Is there a sign up sheet for that yet?
That's about all this is. I'm not dead yet, and decided to post and let everyone know.
