Whereas I thought the character designs in Wind Waker were bright, sharply drawn, and attractive. Not to mention incredibly distinctive, there was NO way to mistake WW for any other game.
...This new Zelda looks, well, a lot like the prerendered bit Link was in from Soulcaliber 2. And a lot like Dynasty Warriors. Or Drakengard. Or any one of the other "stunningly rendered" realistic-looking fantasy games out there. I'm just really tired of those.
...I didn't know about the Clive Barker children's book, but then... I don't really know who Clive Barker is either, so... oh well.
