I really, really, really miss the metaplot. Though some of it was kind of clunky (the whole "search the Abstergo offices ... slowly ... thing ...), it's the thing that really set the game apart for me. Sure, it's mostly fun otherwise, but the metaplot was enthralling. In Origins it barely even reached the level of "afterthought".

Sad. :(
