Recordkeeping: Dragon Quest Builders INCOMPLETE (but maybe continued later)
Poor Dragon Quest Builders.
It was doing a lot of things right, being Minecraft with an actual plot and reason to play it beyond "If you get to the end you get to see a dragon". But some things stacked up.
A: Every chapter is its own Thing, with its own recipes and stockpile. You don't keep anything between chapters, and I was on Chapter 3, which is HARD. (Desperately short on food, for one.)
B: The Switch happened.
C: I fell into a crippling depression and feel absolutely fucking terrible.
So... I guess I'm setting this aside. Maybe I'll pick it up again. Right now I just feel completely mood-broken.
It was a really good game though. It deserves more of a write-up than I'm giving it, because I just kinda suck right now.
