The boyfriend's off in New York, visiting a friend of his, so I'm alone in the apartment until Sunday. This, of course, gives me the chance to be incredibly naughty and do wild things I would never do while being observed. Mostly this consists of using emulator savestates to cheat outragously at the NES game "Lunar Pool". This is because I wouldn't want anyone to know I actually give enough of a damn about Lunar Pool to cheat at it.

...wait... NO! Curse you Livejournal, you have tricked me into revealing my secrets! Oh, if only there were some means of 'un-saying' statements made on the Internet!

Uh. Anyway.

The last couple of weeks have been pretty bad, to the point where I'm confident my antidepressants really are helping. I can tell because instead of being balled up in a corner wailing "LIFE IS IN VAAAAAIN" I'm going "Ugh. This sucks. Okay, time to make it not suck anymore." In reality I've been kind of low-energy, but at least it's not because I'm crushed under the weight of my own sulking.

We have a new TV now, too. It's pretty nice. Smaller than the old one, but also not broken, so that evens out. As such, another Netflix Notes will be posted... uh, when I have some energy.

...hungry now. I'm off.

Go ahead and cheat. When I hit tricky parts, I give it 3 or a dozen tries, and then have someone with better co-ordination do it for me :) I never tell the game it isn't *me* who's doing those tricksy bits, so I get the high scores, not my substitute :)
