Enjoying the movie night so far. Really liking this one.

I'm still not big on revenge, but good lord. This -is- the Revenge Martial Arts Movie pinned down. Amazing.

GoGo Yubari = Hot.

Wolf: "Some movies stay inside the envelope. Some push the envelope. Some don't seem aware there IS an envelope. This movie is determined to prove there IS no envelope."
Sqrl: "No, this movie knows all about the envelope. The envelope is on fire and this movie is dancing around it."

Wolf, later: "This movie is determined to prove the sky is NOT the limit, there is also outer space."

The movie is so bloody violent and hyperbolic it's almost comedic, and yet, oddly compelling and noble.

It is truly live-action gangsta anime. And that's a feat.

KBv1 is okay, but I thought volume two was awesome.

Though Go Go Yubari is indeed cute, for an utterly psychotic girl.

Oh, and I wanna know what you think of Bubba Ho-Tep. It's kinda gross, but it's also really funny. And it's scary how good an Elvis Bruce Campbell makes.
