...and if the boyfriend looks at me funny for happily and repeatedly putting on and taking off the Girdle of Gender Changing -one more time- he's gonna feel the pointy teeth of scuridaeish doom. I am talking about Baldur's Gate, because that's one of the small number of -relaxing- things that have been on my mind lately. It took us a week to get out of chapter two, which usually takes... mmh, a few hours at best. This should tell you what a Doom-Blitz I've been up against lately.
Let's review the Doom, shall we?
1. My computer has a hole in its min... uhm. Motherboard. I don't know quite why. In any event, it's in the shop and being fixed.
2. We're moving. We -did- find a very nice and cozy place with lots of natural wood and carpeting and a brick fireplace and it's generally the best apartment -ever-, plus it's very close to shopping so we can indulge whenever we remember we need food to live. This is a mixed blessing.
3. Writing has dried up. Between trying to write, losing my work, having the PC die, etc and etc and some stuff I'd rather not talk about, I am now about 3000 days overdue on my WorthPlaying assignments and I totally believe that my esteemed editor will have me killed with guns.
So... yeah. I've been a bit frenzied lately. There's more, but as I said, I don't really want to get into it.
In spite of all that, I -am- still feeling upbeat and generally good about life. Things will get better. Just... need more time to get my feet under me again.
